Diversify (aka

D-3PO) is a San Francisco native on an ongoing quest for sonic Darwinism - a true head-nod junky the moment he tuned in to SF's Beatsauce on KUSF at 13. After years of steady thrift-store vinyl, broken gear, and countless hours nerding out in his bedroom, Diversify eventually found himself co-hosting Beatsauce with DJ's Raw-B, J-Boogie, and Wisdom. In 2002, he began teaching music production, and the art of the turntable in SF's Sunset District for The Beacon After School Initiative, which provides free programs to youth, with friend and band mate, Jon Bernson of Exray's.
